It has good compression so it isn't the valves and yes I've tried the spack plug to engine block and no spark and as far as what this thing is I still don't know for sure its a cletrac or clark or case track loader Its has a continetal engine some think its a model F I have the parts house ordering me a cap and rotor but I'm not hopeful that they will find the right parts and yes it seems to have a carbon track on the inside of the cap I tryed to clean it out and had spark for a couple turns of the engine and then it went AWOL
