Linda You may need to tear into the carb and clean it. However to get going in the mean time. I always turn off my gas at the valve under the tank on my Ford NAA jubilee when I park it. It is a good habit to get into. When I turn the gas on. Sometimes it will start leaking like yours is doing. When it does I very lightly tap the side of the carburator with a hammerto see if I can get the float unstuck. Sometimes it will work. Becareful if you have some raw fuel in the area. You don't want to hit it with something that could spark. Maybe a heavy piece of wood would be better in your case!! I use a hammer, but it is a very light tap. Probally about the same you would use when nailing a small nail into a sheetrock wall to hang a picture. Good Luck. Let us know how you come out. Cliff
