I Have a 350 b model crawler that I rebuilt in tech school I also rebuilt a engine on a 2030 JD and saw very few diffrences. I am not sure but I think most of deere's engines used the same block with diffrent bell housings. I would recomend going to a dealer and seeing if they have a gasket to go between the block and the bell houseing gor the two engines if they match or the part numbers match then your good to go.
