I disagree with Raleigh, nothing against Farmalls, I have one myself. The older Ford tractors (1940's- 1950's) are excellent mowers they sit low to the ground and manuver easily. I'd recomend something in the line of a ford 600 or 800 for you. I mow about 15 acres with one of my ford 8-n's and that also mows just fine if you don't mind not having live PTO. The 600 & 800 have live PTO and sure do pack alot of horsepower into a small package. Personaly I've never had any trouble with the hydrolic system on any of my 4 fords. 8-n's are a fairly common tractor and you can usually pic up a good one farly cheap. 600's and 800' are a little more rare and also usually more expensive, but also more powerfull. Ford replacement parts are very easy to find and inexpensive. You may sometimes have problems finding Farmall parts.
