What there saying is NOTHING is more important than the land staying in the same place than before you got it. Where I came from, and probably anywhere else, the old times plowed 4 square, until they got done in the centert. That cause some extremely bad erosion and now we got hills a goat wouldnt climb. I did that once when i first came here to OKLA, and spent 4 years realigning the field to cover up the wahsouts, and its nearly flat, but this sandy loam wont stand for any mistakes in plowing
