Turf of Lug Tires Part 2

Many thanks to all who responded to my earlier post about a week ago as to what kind of tires to put on my MF-135. I went ahead and had turf type tires, rather than ag or R-4 tires, put on it and think that I'll be satisfied with them. I haven't done any mowing with it yet but did spread a really big truck load of topsoil (I know I'm late but it's been wet here in SW Ohio) on wifey's garden this afternoon with very little traction problems. I had them not put any fluid in them (The old tires were loaded) and from what little I've driven on the grass I think I'm going to have way less compaction problems with the lighter weight. For those of you that are curious they set me back a total of $730.23 (Ouch!) for 2 new Goodyear 13.6-28 "All Weather" tires. $224 for each tire, I think $36 for each tube, plus 2-1/2 hours labor to pump the calcium cloride out of the old tires, dismount and mount the new ones, $18/tire to dispose of the old tires, plus 85¢/mile to and from their shop. At least I won't have to worry about ever having to do that again in my lifetime! Thanks again for your help.
