Wheel weights

I was over on the Red Power site and someone had a picture of a tractor on ebay with homemade rear wheel weights made out of concrete. Ive been looking for some and now maybe I might try making my own. Anyone out there done this? I'm thinking place threaded rod to match up to holes in wheel. Maybe add some wire mesh to help hold it together. Make up somekind of round forms,and make it not so heavy that you can't mount them. Maybe (3) bags of cement. Do you think it can be done?
