rubber tired trailer with tracks?

it was early this morning but i'm pretty sure i saw a rubber-tired, heavy duty tag-long trailer with dozer-like tracks. one on the far-left side and one on the right side, just inside the normal trailer wheels. was it some type of machine recovery trailer? maybe powering the tracks would pull a dead machine onto the trailer? the tracks were exposed to the top deck and beneath. but with normal trailer ground clearance underneath. i got the impression that there was a large metal box at the front of the bed. clear as mud? wished i had turned around and given chase now.
