The F-20 uses a dry clutch. That's probably an inspection port you've found. As Bill stated, the mag you need is almost certainly an F-4. The F-M mag works just fine, but most of 'em don't have provision to shut off the spark. Look in the classified ads in the tractor mags for magneto sources, or pick up an F-4 at a tractor show or swapmeet. They're extremely common. IHC made a half million or more of 'em. Parts are available from the usual IHC parts outfits.
