I have never had a problem getting factory parts for my '56 Farmall 100. The dealers from which I have purchased IH parts have been completely professional and happy to please.

The local Cub Cadet dealer, though, can go bankrupt for all I care. His attitude totally stinks! I have a 582. One day he gave me a butt-chewing in front of customers for only asking if he sold used parts - a simple question. A simple "no" would have been sufficient. Anytime I needed a part I got his standard answer: "Don't have it, takes at least two weeks to get it." I realize that he won't have everything, but we're talking common parts like clutch parts, and he didn't have to be condescending about it. Wound up going to a Cub dealer 100 miles away to get what I needed; spent $200 on parts, and that dealer had everything I needed on his shelf. That dealer will get repeat business from me. I no longer do business with the local dealer, and neither do my friends(he ripped them off on repairs many times). One even got so mad that he sold his Cub and bought a Kubota.
