It amazes me all these stories here and not one gave any spec's on Petron Plus, but they said don't dare try it or any other additive. My son did a few demo shows with the electric motor and torque wrench and with the motor with no oil. He owed me some money and so he paid with a 5 gal drum of 10/40 motor (Petron Plus) and three bottles of Petron Plus additive. Back in 1997 I had to make a trip from Superior WI. to Phoenix and the vehicle was in bad shape. 1986 full size Bronco with a 300 six. 1,2,5,and 6 were OK but 3 and 4 the jornals were egg shape and it was knocking very bad. I was out of work and no money. my other son sent me enough money for gas to make it to Phoenix. I decide to jack up the motor, pull the oil pan and disconnect 3 & 4 and sand them down as good as I could with emery cloth. then I put 10,000's over size rod bearings in and put it back together again. My son said drive as far as you can and then we would junk the Bronco, hook the trailer to his truck and go on. He was in Phoenix. I did not expect it to make it out of southern Minnesota. But to make a very long story shorter it made it to the New Mexico - Arizona line before it quit and the only reason it quit was because all the spark plug were fouled because of driving 30 to 35 mph all the way. I called my son and he came out the 250 miles that I had left and put six plugs in it and it started and we went the rest of the way to Phoenix and I drove it around for a month before I sold it $600. Someone wanted it for the front axle. It knocked all the way from Wisconsin to Phoenix and never got any worse. I beleive it was the Petron Plus that got it their. I am looking for it now. Thats how I happened on this site. And by the way Petron Plus is PURE petrolium, with nothing in it. Hope this helps you. And now I have to find it myself. If you have any questions, my email is kb9qzf@yahoo.com.

Today's Featured Article - Choosin, Mounting and Using a Bush Hog Type Mower - by Francis Robinson. Looking around at my new neighbors, most of whom are city raised and have recently acquired their first mini-farms of five to fifteen acres and also from reading questions ask at various discussion sites on the web it is frighteningly apparent that a great many guys (and a few gals) are learning by trial and error and mostly error how to use a very dangerous piece of farm equipment. It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro ... [Read Article]
