Am I the only guy who does this? I have a car trailer with 80" between fenders- but is heavy duty and rated at 6,000# payload. To haul tractors wider than 80", do the following: remove trailer from truck, lower jack all the way to the ground. Unbolt the jack and remove. Run the loading ramps up the front of the trailer, and block up the front corners of the trailer with blocks you wisely pre-cut and brought with you for just such an occassion. Drive the tractor onto the front of the trailer, so it ends up facing backward. If you run the real wheels all the way to the front of the fenders, you will find that the load is balanced very well, and you can put the jack back on and jack it up, and hit the road. Having a hydraulic jack with you makes it easier. I have done this several times, and it takes about 10 minutes at each end. Much easier than removing rear tractor wheels.
