I was pondering my forseeable future as I have to bring 2 more "needs TLC" additions to the familly this year. I got to wondering how many tonque tied types out there are also in the same predicament. So I put together an easy to use list of "what to say to your Wife when she discovers your latest project". DISCLAIMER* It's still your fault if she kills you anyways after tryng 1 or more of these.
-I've always had it, I just moved it up to the shop to work on it.
-HUH? Dang! I suppose now I'll have to go find the owner. Things kids get into now-a-days.
-My friend Ralapindi(doesn't exist) from Meadow Muffins (near some place you acually once were)said I could have it if I could give it a good home.
-I just bought it to show you off at the town parade.
-I swear I just saw it wink at you.
-Look how well it matches the others.
-My anger management councillor told me that it relieves stress.
-I needed it to help with your Kitchen renovations.
-It was on sale.
- I had a coupon.
-You said I could get a new computor work station.
-My set would be incomplete and worthless without it.
-It was only 1 of 2 made. Restored it will be worth a fortune.
-You would'nt beleive what people throw out now-a-days.
-I REALLY need something to run my hands over.
- I told you I needed new tires, the tractor they just threw in.
-It just followed me home.
-I'm just holding it for Larry ( distant friend who, at this minute,is telling his wife the same thing about you.).
-It's my patriotic duty in the War on Terrorism.
-I think it belonged to your Grandfather.
-Hon, Better make me a doctors appointment.I've been having these blackouts lately.
-It's really for the kids.
-Well, you know what they say about "idle hands".
-I've been thinking about that trip to New York you wanted.
-This is the Free Gift for subscibing to Y-T Magazine.
