In the state our farm was in,some 30 years ago and I don't know all the details.....they built the pond and stocked it with fish....As I rember we had to let the public fish it ,and they need to be fished.....we did it because it was so far off the road ,that only airplanes could see it.....You might ask the game and wildlife people....they may have a program....A friend of mine ,has his farm in a wild life program....he has to cut the fields when they tell him it's not nesting time......he told me he makes more money ,than share cropping and a lot better on the soil.....
