I owned a store building once that I turned into a workshop. There was always a lot of skunks under it and somebody told me about the mothballs so I put a bunch under the floor and they just covered them up with dirt. I finally used a live trap and I baited it with eggs. I caught 13 skunks in 15 days and I would haul them off. When I quit catching them, I assumed they were all gone, I just covered up their holes with scrap iron but it seemed that as long as I had that building, I always had a problem with skunks. They say if you catch one with a live trap and throw a tarp over it they wont spray, dont you believe it.
