Howdy, Well, let me tell you a story about a fella who was in love with a certain JD. He loved that tractor for 9 years. Never had any idea how he could get it. Drooled over photos of it. Sat for hours watchin old videos from machinery shows just to hear that pony motor spin up and the big diesel crank over. His family told him he could never have it. Thought he was just dreamin. But he worked hard, did some serious lookin, and with a great friend helpin him bargain he was able to finally pull into his driveway with his own 1951 John Deere R. That fella was me. I'm now goin through a similar phase with a 1948 Chevy sedan. don't have the money to buy it but got it stuck in my head. I'll just have to take the same path. Work hard, save, and then snatch one up. But one things for sure. I'd never part with my two tractors to own the car. If I were you I wouldn't even consider sellin that little pacer. My grandad passed on this summer and his JD H, A, and 420 are stayin on the place no matter what. Most folks who let go of a family tractor end up putting a post on this board several years down the line tryin to find it. Just be patient, work hard, and hopefully Lord willing you'll add a fwd to your fleet a few years from now. God bless.
