Why did Oliver switch to a closed center system. This type of system allways has the pump putting out it's rated PSI which equals more power needed and more fuel used. Granted the tractors noted aren't lacking in the power catagory. An open center system would also reduce wear and tear. What type of the loader you are using that requires a high GPM system? You might want to consider an utility tractor instead of a row crop. Higher GPM hyd's, heaver front ends, and an autoreverser will greatly increase your speed and capacity.
