I watched a coyote and a deer playing around, chasing each other back and forth in a field for over an hour one day, in the early afternoon. It wasn't a "life or death" struggle, either. They'd chase each other a while, rest a bit, sniff ach other's noses...very obviously playing with each other. Kinda fun to watch...
