Here are a couple more thoughts on your 'won't start...snow coming' post: It helps to keep the clutch pushed in so you're not turning the input shaft on the transmission as the grease (probably 90wt) gets really thick as the temperature drops (if this works and then the engine pulls down and the tractor won't move when you let the clutch out you probably have water that's turned to ice in the transmission - tarp it and warm the transmission up with a torpedo heater then drain and refill). Do you know what weight oil is in the engine? 30- wt will really pull the starter down (especially on a 6v system) when the temp gets down below freezing. Another possibility is that there is ice in the bellhousing that has locked the flywheel-maybe one of the Farmall guys can tell you if this is a possibility with your model of tractor. Good Luck!
