of course! It's turning,tumbling,being squeezed like a baloon,because that's what a rubber tire really is-just a heavy-duty ballon! So it rolls around the rim,but without as much force as a liquid. Did you ever take an egg and spin it on a table for a few seconds,then stop it suddenly,but then quickly take your finger off of it- only to watch the egg start spinning again on its own? The air in the tire is turbulent,but not powerful enough to feel, (no mass)the eggs innards being liquid (or viscous anyway) has enough energy to remain in motion for a second or two after you stop it (more mess!) Try putting eggs in your tires and you'll feel a difference. HB
