Your story is not uncommon. There were a lot of F12s made and many are still around. They are not expensive or rare, but are fun to work on, use and play with. Many are purchased for less than scrap value. You just have to get lucky (as it sounds like you are). Parts are readily available, both used and new. You won't have any trouble finding whatever parts you need for your project, but might need to ship them from the U.S. Paul Fox has put together a website showing how he fixed his F14 (almost the same tractor). In it he documents how much he spent and who he dealt with. An excellent way to get an idea of what is in store if you need to totally restore your find. Good luck. Email if you have any questions.
