a way to paint mounted tires and have them look good....

there are several ways to go about this! 1) use 3m masking tape and go around the rim then use 6" paper out a little more,get a little touch up gun to do the outer section of the wheel use your normal gun for thr rest of the wheel,have the tractor jacked up so you can turn the wheel.i use this method all the time because i used to paint alot of used 150 h.p. tractors for the dealer and it would cost about 250.00 to have all the tires taken off and put back on.you can do this with a little care and get NO overspray on the tires #2 method is what i use for tractors i painted for a dealer that baught junk tractors got them running and sold them,use touch up gun on outer part of rim then take some cheap flat black and a 2" brush to go around the rim to cover up the little bit of overspray on the tire,this can look good also if you take your time.#3 i tried this ONCE and hated it cover edge of tire with vaseline by rim paint rim and wash off vaseline when paint is dry,makes a mess ill never do that again!!!!!
