I didn't like the army or God posts either, but:

I like to cut young guys some slack, so I did
not comment or read farther on that topic.
Young folks need encouragement, so I'd leave
that thread alone but privately hoped it dies
quickly...

I've found discussing God on the internet just
gets one into trouble, & assumed Kim would
kill that one quickly - surprised she didn't. Just
a topic I stay out of on places like this! :)

The only obvious rule stated is to not post ads.
so, it's safe to comment on those, and the first
person to do so seemed quite polite about it,
and then came your harsh comments....

Other off-topic discussions bother me too, but
those are judgement calls, and that is up to
Kim. They are _frequently_ pointed out in the
'site comments' area, if you have never noticed
that.

Your opinion is fine, what are you getting huffy
about it? This is just a discussion between
people, and we seem to agree with about
75% of what you are saying. What's the
problem? Stay friends with people. I'd be
happy to discuss tractor stuff with you, or the
original guy selling stuff, or anyone on this
thread. It's not about ticking people off. Just
keep discussing, voicing your opinion. nothing
wrong with that! Nobody is acalling nobody
names. Can't we just voice our opinion too?
That's all I'm doing, I ain't yelling at you. Just
voicing my opinion is all.

Have some fun!

Today's Featured Article - Chores - by Frank Young. The ceaseless passing of time! It is at once our friend and our enemy. It measures our progress and it makes us old. Like most features of our life, few things are all good or all bad, and most such judgments depend on our own perspective or viewpoint. In our particular hobby, we enjoy the nostalgic return to the days of our youth as we recreate many of the scenes that took place on the family farm that served as the stage for the first few acts of the play that is our live ...
