Also keep your legs out of the way while hand cranking in case the engine kicks back and hand cranke will go downward and around and catch your legs if they are in the way. Instead of slow counting to 10 I would slow count to 5 and let off and try it again slow count to 5, if you hook it up 12 volt. Also you will need to get a reducer down to 6v on the coil and convert lights to 12v if you have them hooked up, plus you will need to either unhook charging system or make it compatible for 12 volt when using 12 volt battery.
