I pay $5.50 a bale for just baling for big round bales (1000 to 1200 lbs). I got small square twine tied baler but haven't done any custom baling thus far, just a little for myself. I would guess wire tied bale would be worth a little more than twine tied. As far as doing it on a percent basis, I would do it by each cutting, and not I get this one and you get the next. Put up a few cuttings and you will know weather you need to raise, lower, or keep your rates the same. Just shoot some sort of deal and you surely won't get totally stuck holding the bag. Unless of coarse the landlords check doesn't clear.
