Hmm... I've seen a photo of a similar machine made from an 830, a D, and an A, with the driver's seat on the 830, the D's front wheels removed and the front of the D fastened to the back of the 830, and an A engine on top of the D. Four engines, counting the 830's pony. It was in a book about John Deere tractors. I think the book said that the D was pull started and the D's PTO was engaged to start the A engine. I guess contraptions like these are the only way to get remotely close to ETD horsepower with conventional tractor parts?
