Bill....here's the deal. My wife and I got married a few years ago....both our parents are midde class working families....not a lot of extra cash. We had a nice wedding for about 6000 dollars. My in-laws gave us $1500, my Mom had a rehearsal dinner at a small family restaurant, and my dad picked up the bar tab. What we did, was put the word out that we were paying for this gig ourselves....which to most people with a brain means gifts should be cash. Most people gave a gift of 50 to 100 dollars, and we recouped all the money we spent, and had enough for one very extravegant meal on our honeymoon (500 dollars extravegant!). People often remind us that our wedding was one of the most fun they have been too. The secret is to have a great band, great food and drink. All the rest is filler. Keep in mind that the gifts your kids get will be large, and there is no reason you should go in debt for their benefit.....my wife would never stand for that....that's one of the reasons I married her. Take Care Steve

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
