HI Bill

Well I know a lot of people that spend way too
much on weddings.

First I meet a girl online about 2 yrs. 9 months
ago, Christain chat room . We got married in
that dec. so been two yrs, yesterday.

If prices are close to what they were here is
what you looking at.

Hall 350-500
Flowers 250-??
Cake 250-??
Dress 500-??
Food per person 8.00-??
""If you can get friends family church to make it
and pay them for there cost of the food, place
set ( plates etc. plastic nice ) .""
Drinks pop etc. 150- ??
Other drinks can not help there , we were not
going to pay for someone to get hurt in a car
wreck.
Gifts ??
Invataions (sp) 150-200 >??
D-J 150- 500 > ??
Things to make up the hall 350 > ??
center peices, skirting, table clothes, etc. we
rented the bigger things( entry way ).
Pictures 350-> ??

Boy a lot of work for us both but can be done.
At the time we both we working, she was finishing
her masters. We talked it over and said that we
were not going in dept to get married. So we
made the food, planed and looked; we had 3 months
to do it in and we made out ok. Well we been at
other poeple's wedding. Have been to guess about
6-8 after and only one was nicer than our's.
Some that where planed badly and some bad
food and some just not nicer.
Our food was all made by hand or bought ( cake ),
we stayed at a B&B and a Cabin For a week after
that in the hills of western ( center western PA
) The best I can up with for a grand total,
minus gas money and time for all of the running
we did was around 7500 thats is for . Wedding
dress,Tuxs food hal & etc. flowers gifts , paying
D-J minster, cake, Bride-maid dresses, shoes ,
invations, 280 poeple at ours by the way (320
were to show) Honeymoon, POP and toast ( it was
carbonated juice the good type) coffee tea ,
pictures , total I'm talking total. YOu may send money on flowers for the church, flowers were there already for cristmass for us.

Would I my self plan to do it again me and my
wife with out more help from family or friends
not so sure I would three months was pushing it.
It was a wounder we did kill each other, LOL. a
lot of stress.

So I'm sure if you can get the Church hall( Our
cost 350)? Church people to cook( Our cost was
around 2.80 per person I think, total for
settings etc. was around 5.somethings)? You marry
them( 75.00)? D-J ( 150.00 ) Cake find someone
to make it for you( 225.00 ) Dress shoes etc.
Hair etc. 250-500 ( 1,000.00 ) Honeymoon b&b
( 350 )cabin ( 450 ) maybe they can go to one (cabins or vations house etc.) of your friends
to be alone. We thought it over and after all the
planing and stress just need to rest and relax
not plan to run all over running, LOL.

If you need to e-mail me go a head I'll help if I can.

God Bless!!

Have a Happy CHRISTmass

Punchie

Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point ... [Read Article]
