My brother-in-law had a friend in Germany who boated one over to the east coast some years ago and drove it across Canada. Well, got at least this far (Edmonton) and somewhat north on the way to Alaska. Had some problems and the vehicle found it's way back here and is sitting in somebody's back yard locally. It's a '58 model I believe and was originally some sort of a mobile first-aid station. Somebody converted it into what you might call a motorhome. I remember it had a 5-cylinder diesel engine in it. He'd probably cut someone a fair deal on it if interested since the owner still lives in Munich. I believe it is a running unit.
