I have a 2000 F-250 with the V-10 and auto.trans.. It runs down the road just fine, with a AC WD-45 with loaded tires, weights, and loader, plus a Case C on a 24ft. fifth-wheel trailer. Truck is a two-wheel drive, I had to special order it that way. Seems all they want to sell is four-wheel drive. I ordered the 7.73, limited slip rearend, booster springs in the rear, the largest tires they offered, plus a few other options. I get between 11.5 & 12 MPG. Unless my foot gets heavey or I'm towing something. Then it drops down to about 9 MPG. But I think its a great truck.
