I have put a Cub on the back of my truck, It is a 1/2 ton I have added springs to. It is OK for across town, short local trips, buy you don't want to go far. Same would apply I think with an A and a 3/4 ton. You would want at least a dual wheel axle for this idea to work leaglly and pratically I think.
