In my experience and observations, fixing up old tractors for resale/profit is rarely profitable. Most of us do it because we like to and/or to use it. It is much cheaper than buying a 15,000+ Kubota or something like that. Especially when all we might really "need" it for is to mow with every now and then :) Fixing up and old piece of machinery is very enjoyable for many of us. It also brings us together in forums like this one to help each other and share experiences. However we usually find we have more invested in it than we can likely ever sell it for.
