Here she is on her maiden run. Restored by my 18 year old son Michael, as a "senior project," to fufill an outside-of-school project requirement for graduation. He also wrote an extensive term paper on the John Deere company, and will present this project and a speech to a group of judges selected from some local tractor collectors/restorers. Fortunately, she didn't require major overhaul, but did need lots of TLC on the cleanup, replacement of ignition parts, and sheet metal, as well as painting. Tomorrow the tractor goes to school for presentation in class. That's going to be a cold drive! Think he's done a very nice job. You can congratulate him at his email address: michaelp@montabella.com I grew up on a '47 B, and am thrilled to have one back in the family. This tractor origionally belonged to my wife's uncle - he passed on a few years back. She's thrilled that the tractor is still in the family. Michael, - he's having more fun than a kid ought to have! Here's to your memory Uncle Paul!
