There is a switch on the instrument panel. A knob that can be pulled in and out. It is hooked in the fuel shut off lever in the injector pump. When you pull the knob out the engine will stop. If you forget to push it back in the engine will not start. The is no electrical switches that can stop the engine because it is a diesel and it does not need any electricity to run. Only the starter motor and lights need electricity in this model. If your tractor has ran before there shouldn't be any major problem that causes it not to start. The bleeding of the fuel system is essential for the operation of the engine. If you are not able to bleed it completely you can tow the tractor until it starts. It needs quite a lot of towing until all of the air has been removed.
