One day, many years ago, I was out disking with the Case DC pulling an 8 ft disk and disking crossways in the field. In and out of furrows. Being a "know it all" teen, I loved hearing it grunt when it came out of the furrows. I would throttle down and then gunn her on the way out. One moment I throttle down too much and she stalled. The starter was not working, so we canked her. She was always an easy cranker, so we never fix the starter. Well this day I went around the front to crank her and put the crank in the bottom and pulled up. No start. Put the crank back in the bottom for another crank but instead, the engin back fired and the crank came around the other direction ane wacked me right on the forehead. It knocked me down and I was probably out for a few minuets. I came too with a oversize knot on my forehead and a massive headace. That old Case was always an easer starter, but if you stall her when shes hot..... be careful on restarts.
