You will have much better engine life with a multi-weight oil specially formulated for diesels. You will have hot operations protection, as well as startups and cold weather. Order or quality: 1. Mobil Delvac 1 5W40 synthetic (available at large truck stops such as Petro or the wholesaler. 2. Mobil Delvac 1300 15W40 3. Shell Rotella 15W40 Good luck with your tractor. Oil is not the place to try to save a nickel.
