ron, I agree with G-Man. Don't sandblast around any assembled engine or transmission that has the slightest hope of running. Pull off the parts and put them in the cabinet to blast. For the whole shootin' match, over 50 years worth of gunk came off my H with pressure wash, oven cleaner, wire brushes on a angle grinder and a Dremel. More work, but it still runs. Steve
