homemade crawler

i saw a picture of a homemade crawler,some comments by the builder,and an e-mail address to receive plans-but the e-mail didnt work-and i was just stupid enough not to bookmark the page-does anyone have an idea about those plans? any other sites or addresses for homemade how-to would also be greatly appreciated-thanks.
