I think the gas will work real good. I would fill a large pail with 2 gal gasoline, and 2 gal diesel. and definatly go at night and fill the hole with the mixture. If you smoke it might be a good idea not to at this time. I usually get into several bee hives in the ground during my discing season, I never bother with them because they are aways away from everything, and they are gone the next year. By the time I realiz the bees are there it is usually too late, and get hit 4-5 times.
