AFTER READING AND TALKING TO LOTS OF FOLKS ABOUT AN ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND INEXPENSIVE WAY IN THE LONG RUN TO ADD WEIGHT TO MY TRACTOR I HAVE COME TO THIS CONCLUSION.

TUBLESS TIRES FILLED WITH AIR, NOT FLUID FILLED WITH CORROSIVE OR TOXIC FLUIDS, WITH WHEEL WEIGHTS ADDED SEEMS TO MAKE THE MOST SENSE. THE ONLY MONEY I AM OUT IS THE COST OF THE PLUG KITS TO PATCH MY FLATS AND THE INITIAL COST OF THE WHEEL WEIGHTS THAT I WILL HAVE FOREVER, AND THE TIME FACTOR/VALUE THAT MY TRACTOR IS NOT WORKING. THIS TIME FACTOR IS USUALLY VERY SHORT BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE TIME TO REMOVE THE WHEEL, DISMOUNT THE TIRE, PATCH OR REPLACE AN EXPENSIVE TUBE, REMOUNT THE TIRE, AND REPLACE EXPENSIVE FLUID. ALL I HAVE TO DO IS PLUG THE TIRE IN THE FIELD AND GET A COMPRESSOR OUT TO THE TRACTOR TO AIR UP THE TIRE AND MY TRACTOR IS WORKING AGAIN. IF YOU ARE LIKE ME YOU CAN FIND ITEMS TO GIVE YOUR TIRES PUNCTURE WOUNDS IN THE MOST UNLIKLY PLACES. IF I CAN GET MY TRACTOR MOVING AGAIN IN A HALF HOUR OR LESS THEN I HAVE SAVED TIME AND MONEY BOTH NOW AND IN THE LONG RUN.
THE ONLY THING I DO NOT HAVE IS AN EASY WAY TO ADD OR SUBTRACT WEIGHT TO THE REAR WHEELS. THE SUIT CASE WEIGHTS FOR THE FRONT ARE FAIRLY EASY. HAS ANYONE INVENTED AN EASY TO USE MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR REAR WHEEL WEIGHTS? I WOULD LOVE TO BUY ONE OF THOSE. THEN I WOULD BE SET.

IF SOMEONE SEES A FLAW IN MY REASONING PLEASE CORRECT ME IN THE INTEREST EFFICIENCY.

P.S. MY TIME OF EXPERIENCE WITH TUBLESS REAR DRIVE TIRES IS SHORT. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE DRAWBACKS I NEED TO LOOK OUT FOR IN USEING TUBLESS REAR DRIVE TRACTOR TIRES?

THANKS

ERIC
