Looseness is more the problem than alignment. You might adjust the tie rods for a little more toe in. But the roots of the shaking problem are in every moving part. The wheel bearings to the steering gear. That includes spindle bearings, tie rod ends, steering gear bearings and steering gears. I suspect the steering gear is similar to that of an 8N or my MF-135 with two cross shafts one above the other. These probably are tapered gears and adjustable to tighten the mesh. They have to fit snuggly or the front wheels flop independently. For that matter every bearing, bushing, and tie rod end has to be without slack to keep the front end from jumping about. Reversing the wheels to get to 72" makes it all worse. Gerald
