I guess I'll just refer to it as refurbishing, not restoring. But, Dad and I get a kick out of all kinds of old machinery and equipment and we've brought quite a bit back to life, including an Oliver Nichols $ Shepherd Red River Special separator, a Model T truck, an Ideal lawn mower, a 5 bottom John Deere plow, a Baker fan, a 35 hp Bessemer oilfield-type engine, several smaller flywheel engines, an old electric washing machine, a beautiful old Round Oak Stove (just clean it up and build a fire, easiest restoration project ever), and several other old pieces. Just can't remember 'em all right now. But, dad started gathering and refurbishing antique farm-related stuff in the late 1950's and he's never sold or thrown anything away I don't think.
