I agree with what was said about the 4000 in compared to the MF135. The Ford 4000 is a bigger tractor, and has more horsepower. The MF 165 is a more comparable size to the 4000. But with these two as the options, I would most likely pick the MF 135. The 135 is a proven work horse with a strong track record of reliable service when given half ways decent maintenance. Before buying, take into consideration the type of work that you will be needing the tractor for, and how much it will be used. Take into consideration how much horsepower you will require to perform the tasks. This will also be a deciding factor for your decision.
