I am having trouble getting any depth from my 2 bottom Ferguson Plow. I have a JD 1010 with 36" tires and am trying to plow a field that has not been plowed in years and was (until I brush hogged it)overgrown with mostly weeds and some briars. The soil is pretty dry here. Should this tractor/plow combination work OK? Is the moisture content of the soil the problem? My inexperience at setting up a plow? Top link to long for my 3 point hitch?
