My Dad always chewed Copenhagen. If we were outside working, he would spit on the ground. We had a nice Black Lab that was usually with us. She would always lick up what my Dad spit (I think she had the HABIT!) and she never got worms like the other dogs. But yeah, it used to gross me out when she did that.
