Due to the fact I smashed my JD #9 mower on a rock, and that the Wisconsin engine on my NH68 baler lost it's coil, I bought a NH 472 haybine and switched my baler to pto operation. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. The haybine is fantastic and that baler is easier to run in some ways. I never thoughtn there would be that much difference with the haybine, but it runs just as easy as my sickle bar did and doesn't plug up at all. Tha hay uality should be better too what with the crimping action of the rolls. The baler is still abit of a problem as I don't have live PTO of the 800 Ford. Once I get the Cocokshutt 30 parts repaired that problem will be fixed. Why I beat my head against a wall using old half workable equipment is beyond me sometimes. Guess it's a combination of being cheap and stubborn.
