Thanks Bernhard. We had a family gathering here at the farm and had 18 people. We ate great food and then visited. Even had a chance to drive around on the 1951 McCormick WD-9 and then drove the Farmall Cub around and looked over the International I-6. Had a salute to the flag and a poem read about our servicemen for their contribution to our freedom and a prayer of Thanksgiving. I spent 3 happy years in your country while serving in the US Army and really enjoyed it. Even had the chance to play an organ that Mozart once played and that was one of the highlights of my term in German. I also brought home a Mercedes 300S of which only 283 were built. What a great car! It is now in the Indianapolis Speedway Museum. So, thanks for the greeting on our independance day, and thanks for a great 3 years in your homeland. My wife came to join me for a couple years, and our first son was born in Kassel, Germany.
