Pottery,, sounds like a water cooler jar, given as a premium for buying a tractor, 1920s,,, is it about 1.5-2 gallons?,People would fill them, then let sit in the shade,,, the pottery would sweat a bit and cool the water within,pre-electric.,John in Nebr.
