I am guessing you have a powerlift not a powertrol since you said peddle instead of lever. Powertrol has the hydraulic coupling fittings whereas the powerlift doesn't. The difference on the lift arms is they were meant to have a drop rate so you can get the cultivator back down for the next row. That can be adjusted by the little screw on the backside that has a hexnut covering on it. That cylinder is straight foreward of the valve control box on the back end. It is basically between and above the rear axle bull gears. You have to take the whole unit off from the PTO shaft area all around the valve body to fix the piston or gasket. Very clumbsy to handle. I would try the adjustment first. Might also want to get a book on the tractor to help you know where things are. Will pay for itself quickly.
