I once shot the bottom off a big wasp nest and then ran like H---, the next day the thing was sealed back up again and looked undisturbed. I hit ine last summer with a lawn tractor while going through some deep grass and weeds. Chopped the thing to little pieces. I think the exhaust from the engine saved my life cause they were flying all around, but none of the swarm got me.
